The Jay Rope is a very versatile rope for pulling an ice sled. It freed up my hands to use a spud bar while getting to my spot. I have fortunately not had to use in an emergency situation, but my wife sure likes the extra safety of having this with me while I am on the ice!!
I am hoping to use to drag out a deer this fall. It will surely beat the other options that I currently have, and my hands will appreciate that!!!! Jay is also a great guy with a true passion for helping people. He was very willing to give extra tips on the Jay Rope’s usage.

The Jay Rope setup is absolutely perfect for what we do when we go ice fishing, walking into remote barely accessible lakes in Northern Minnesota and the ability to have shoulder straps instead of old bungees and straps around the waist really makes the treks out to the fishing hole much easier. Pair it with a smitty sled for the best mobile setup possible. The material is incredibly sturdy, and of high quality it seems, and in an emergency you can undo the whole works and have a lifeline. Thanks for the great product I will be back!
